5/6/2010 - Sticky Candy finishes 3rd at Hollywood Park

Sticky Candy recently finished a strong 3rd in a starter allowance race on the turf at Hollywood Park. Stalking extremely slow fractions, Sticky Candy did his best to rally against the five year old front running winner who was allowed to dictate an easy pace. This three year old colt tried hard, but the pace just didn't set up for him in the race as he lost a close photo for second.

The entire team at Coast Racing was thrilled by Sticky Candy's performance. This was his first start against winners, first start on the turf, and first start going two turns. Sticky Candy showed a lot of heart, and should improve in his next race.
