Fire Break is a multiple race winner of over $250,000 that was recently claimed by trainer Doug O'Neill at Hollywood Park. The Coast Racing team had been following this hard knocking gelding for over a year, and when he returned to the Southern California circuit, making a claim was a no-brainer. Fire Break was purchased looking forward to the upcoming Del Mar meet, but in his only start for Coast Racing he was claimed right back and would eventually go on to win yet another race for his connections at Del mar.

While the entire team at Coast Racing was disappointed to see Fire Break claimed so quickly, we'll always be big fans of this hard trying gelding.
